Therefore, we will not sow this mischevious plant in the Costa Rican homeland with our hands, thus according legal existence and status to communism.
It is therefore our belief that, since there exists a flagrant contradiction between the tendencies of the communistic association and the basic principles of our present society and of our political Constitution, we should not recognize the request made by them and in consequence we propose, respectfully, the emission of the following decree:Congress, etc.
DICREES:Sole Article. The resolution of the Executive Power to deny to those affiliated with Communism, as such, the right to take advantage of Article 44 of the Electoral Law to inscribe their emblem and colors for election purposes, is fully confirmed.
