Reports are picked up from everywhere which are echoes of conversations had among them, that they intend to assassinate the so called representatives of capitalism (owners of farms, bosses, etc. first, and afterwards sack commissaries and burn settlements, etc. as well as impede the cutting of fruit, threatening the negro laborers.
Major Campos has done all in his power; but it would be advisable for him to communicate directly with the President of the Republic in order to work with the maximum backing.
The Chief of Action of Communism is Juan Luis, Fallas, who was confined here by the Government. To him may be credited the incredible power which this movement has gained here.
