Communist organization non assuming open leadership of striko which they threaten to spread throughout entire country for ultimato roported objcct control of Government. Avowed objective of strike in banana regions, better pay and working conditions.
Cabinet Ministers scriously alarmed, urging roluctant President Jiminoz to use force. Truit Company may not load schedulod boats ovor week end and is considering possibility sending vessel to remove women and children from Port Limon. Company has not asked protection this a Location but am informed this request will be made if doemcd necessary. Government situation handicapped by lack of sufficient police and army to afford protection in rural sections of disturbance spread. Situation dangerous in possible consequences.
