The next campaign will probably get under way shortly after the first of January, 1935, and be in full swing in a year from now. The moratorium on the American loan will expire in September, 1935, and those on the other loans will follow at short intervals thereafter. This will create a major problem, which may have a direct bearing on the presidential campaign. This and other important problems, combined with the potent factor of labor unrest and Communism should make the 1936 elections of unusual importance and significance.
