As of interest in connection with the influence of Communistic and anarchistic literature on the Sequeira brothers, San José newspapers have published photographs of a number of radical newspapers of foreign origin which were found in the room of the criminals. Among the publications found were copies of EL LUCHADOR, published in Barcelona, Spain; EL PELUDO, published in Buenos Aires; CULTURA PROLETARIA, published in New York City; and IDEARIO, published in Italy. Copies of TRABAJO, the weekly organ of the Communist Party of Costa Rica, were also found in the room.
The Postal authorities, as a result of the foreign Communistic literature found, have now prohibited the delivery of such literature to the addressees. The Costa Rican Communist Party newspaper TRABAJO is said to receive a large amount of literature from all parts of the world, all of which will hereafter be returned to the senders.
