discreet inquiries.
It is known that the matter of communist gains in Costa Rica was discussed informally between Mr. Zalazar and Mr. Zúñiga Montúſar, Costa Rican Minister for Foreign Affairs, but what proposals, if any, were made by the former to prevent the spread of communism in Central America has not as yet been disclosed.
Mr. Zalazar has apparently not been at all active since the date of his arrival and states that he is here merely on a brief vacation. As far as have been able to ascertain he has made no inquiries with regard to the communist movement in Costa Rica other than of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Respectfully yours, NM Harriles Wim Hom Ibrook.
