We admired the fearlessness and courage of the boys who took part in it, their mental integrity and the blind faith with which they acted on behalf of their cause; and, our regret was that such efforts were of no value to the country, because of the mistaken concept which inspired their leaders. And one day. we said to one of our friends, also a friend of theirs (the communists. Propose to the leaders that they adopt the Papal Encyclicals as their platform so that the sincerity of their efforts will be guided through channels of light and charity, tell them that we, the Catholics who desire greater social justice, will then be able to follow them and will follow them.
