THONY VASSILIU, a Salvadorian politieel refugee living in Costa Rica, was elected President of the organisation and on February 21, 1944, he wrote JATIK GRAVALOSA, LUIS AZCARAN, Paredo 14, Depto. 10, Mondeo, relating the organisation of the Costa Rican Youth group and discussing their plans and asking advies from the addressee.
According to Soure, A, GRAVALOSA, giving his address as Lle. Verdad 1, Despo. 106, Mexdeo, roplied with the letters dated March 12 and March 13, 1944. The letters were written on the stationery of the CONFERENCIA CONTINENTAL DE LA JUVENTUD POR LA VICTORIA (Continental Conference of Youth for Vietory. and were signed by PLAVALOSA, For the Executive Committee. He stated that they were glad to hear of the puesosa of the Costa Rican Youth organ isation, and of the help offered them by the thon President RAFAEL CALDERON GUARDIA, and the then President Eloot DEODORO PIOADO.
