COSTA RICA egy CRT OF STAT 818. 00B 844 As of possible interest information has been received from a reliable source in San Jose, Costa Rica, that approximately thirty five men are forming a secret anti Communist organization. They plan to fight Communism by the use of propaganda and by organizing a shock troop brigade similar to that presently being maintained by the Communists and to arm this brigade with pistols and blackjacks which are being purchased locally. The organization is financed by members who are chiefly prosperous young capitalists and who pay an entrance fee of 500 colones and monthly dues of 25 colones. The organization is probably not anti government since the membership of the organization includes friends of the present administration. The leaders of the organization include Fernando Canas, Victor Yglesias, Lionel Yglesias, and Roberto Salazar.
