In contrast to yesterday, there was scarecely any sign of military activity on the road or in Tres Rios. The Figueres outpost told us that Fallás column of about 200 was in the hills to the left of the highway apparently trying to get around the Figueres outposts for an attack on Cartago from the flank or rear. However, they said their scouts were in contact with the column and they were not worried. They told us that the truce was being observed on all fronts with which they had contact except by the Fallas column and they said they themselves realized from the way it was moving that there was no possibility of San José having gotten instructions to it. asked about the aerial bombing in Cartago yesterday.
