Since the first news of the discussion of this treaty, have been carefully examining the papers of this capital for expressions of opinion in regard thereto. have noted that none of the leading papers of this city makes any comment upon a matter of such large public interest, and only one of them, El Nacional has narrated the facts as reported by the American press, refraining from all criticism, favorable or otherwise.
