2nd Prom San Salvador, Aug. 5, created by the gueries of the PRESS of New York, which queries the President said had been extremely distasteful to him. Last Sunday there were held in the principal towns of this Republic indignation meetings protesting against the establishment of a prorum tectorate in Salvador to which the New York papers referred. Now, however, all unrest has disappeared and everything has again become quiet throughout the Republic, so that there are no fears any further disturbances or disorders.
