with especial pleasure, hasten to answer Your Excellency most important telegraphic message dated yesterday to inform you that it is true that my Government has suggested to the other Central American Governments the idea of celebrating a Central American Conference with the object of discussing matters which so deeply affect the interests of th ve ståtes, and especially the vital interests of Honduras and Salvador, in connection with the pending negotiations between Your Excellency Government and the Government of the United States; and as a consequence of that initiative, and being desirous that the matters be treated in order, and that the other governments might offer their fraternal cooperation to the Government of Your Excellency in the most courteous form and with absolute respect to the autonomy of Nicaragua, President
