sir: have the honor to report that a publie statement given to the press in New York by Dr.
Juan Bautista Samaya, the new Nicaraguan minister to the United States, has been published by the local papers. Copy and translation of the statement as 1t appeared in the DIARIO LATINO of March 19, 1929, are herewith enclosed.
Perhaps the chief interest of the statement, which is merely a quotation from the United Press, lies in the fact that importance is given by the Press
