SLOAN LINIMENT 1925. It Under the above caption we are in receipt of a neatly printed pamphlet sent us by the British Minister in this city. The publication contains a resume of the result of last year exhibition both from a commercial and editorial point of view and should inake very interesting reading. Accompanying the Pamphlet are a circular letter and application form for membership to the Associate Branch of the British Empire Exhibition, a new innovation in connection with the Exhi.
bition, a fuller description of which will appear in a later issue of this paper.
The following extracts are taken from the interesting Pamphlet:WEMBLEY 1925.
The British Empire Exhibition, 1924, is already a matter of his tory. In the pages woich follow an attempt is made to review some of the chief results of that Exhibition, so far as it has been possible to obtain knowledge of them. As well as serving as a historical record of business done at Wembley during the British Empire Exoibition first session this pamphlet is designed to interest prospective visitors, par icularly buyers, in the possibilities that will lie to their hand in toe British Empire Exhibition, based on information viven by those in closes: cotact with the sections referred to.
To all intents and purposes the 1925 Exhibition will be as compietu representation of the wanifold activities of the British Eunpire as was its predecessor last year. Prominence may be given to different aspects of the industry of the Empire, but no section will be overlooked Prac.
tically all the Dominions and Cologies are again exhibiting in the various Overseas pavilions which last year aroused such wide interest. The iodustries of the Home Country will again be housed in the great Palace of Engineering Palace of Industry And in the maller pavilions and wiosks throughout the grounds.
No important part of the Empire and no important industry will be lacking.
The 1925 Exhibition is in no sense a mere cord edition o last year display. It is a new Exhibition, in the making of wbich the valuable experienca gained last year will be put to good use. Many of the improvements suggested that experience are now being carried out and wben tbe Exhibition opens in May Wembley will once more be a true representation in miniature of the Entire British Empire.
THE FIRST FRUITS OP WEMBLEY It is impossible within a few months of th close of ap Exhibition of the size of the British Empire Exhibition to estimate with any degree of accuracy how far the aims and objects with wbich it set out have been fulfilled The full effect of Wembley will not be felt, for years to come, and it may be that just as we still speak of the Great Exhibition of 1851, 80, half a century bence, pos terity will still be talking of the Great Empire Exhibition of 1924. It is possible however, to state without fear of contradiction that the British Empire Exhibition was an uoqualified success It is possible ioo, to prove this by considering the extent to wbicb it fulfilled its primary purposes.
The aims and objects of the Exbibition, as set out in the early Exhibition literature, were as REMEMBER!
