And it is much to be regretted that France which possesses there so many friends and so fair a past of glory and of memories should not do as much, But we earnestly hope that a change in this regard will come about and that better advised France will also interest herself in a condition of affairs which concerns her industry and her commerce, not to be neglectful by continuing to ignore the dangers.
